MNASE Basketball League is a national basketball organization committed to empowering athletes through a complete ecosystem of mentorship, development, and competitive opportunities. Originally founded in 2017 as the Minnesota Amateur Sports Empire, MNASE began with a bold vision: to create a platform where overlooked, underserved, and cut athletes could find opportunity, community, and growth in the game of basketball. What started with a single local team has since evolved into a nationwide initiative that serves youth and adult athletes in communities across the United States.

In 2024, MNASE underwent a major rebrand to reflect its expanded vision and reach. The new name—Mentorship. Networking. Athletics. Support. Sponsorship.—captures the full scope of what we provide to athletes, families, teams, and communities. We're no longer just about competition. We're about connection. We’re about character. We’re about creating sustainable systems that allow athletes of all backgrounds and skill levels to grow on and off the court.

At our core, MNASE is a movement driven by purpose. Every program, every event, and every partnership we establish is rooted in five guiding principles:

1. Mentorship: We believe strong mentorship is the foundation of athlete development. Our coaches, trainers, and community leaders model integrity, discipline, and accountability, guiding players beyond the court.

2. Networking: We build bridges. MNASE connects athletes to trainers, scouts, colleges, and career pathways—ensuring no talent goes unseen and no athlete is left unsupported.

3. Athletics: Basketball is our language, our passion, and our platform. We use the game to promote physical health, mental toughness, and teamwork through a wide variety of leagues, tournaments, and training experiences.

4. Support: We understand that growth requires resources. From scholarships and financial aid to free clinics and parent workshops, we offer holistic support to ensure every athlete has what they need to thrive.

5. Sponsorship: Our partnership model gives back. We reinvest into communities, youth organizations, and facility partners, creating a cycle of opportunity and sustainable growth.

MNASE offers a year-round calendar of programs tailored to athletes of all ages and skill levels—from beginners to elite prospects. These include travel teams like the Elite Mammoths, recovery programs like Second Chance Shots, developmental leagues like Lockdown 3on3, and open-access events like the Weekend Draft. Our Mentality Academy delivers over 130 annual skill-building events that include camps, clinics, and workshops designed to unlock each athlete’s full potential.

We also prioritize long-term success by offering college recruitment support, leadership training, digital development journals, and rewards through our MNASE Bucks system. Our comprehensive membership options make structured training, competition, and mentorship accessible to families and teams regardless of income level.
